JETSAM!

2026 · Arcade

One tap. Real stars. Slingshot the galaxy.

One-tap orbital arcade game. Release from orbit, thread the rings, chain slingshots, and jump through hyperspace to 1,359 real stars at their true distances. Daily seeded challenge and a live global leaderboard. Out now on itch.io and the web.

Background

JETSAM! is built on one input. Hold in orbit to wind up a slingshot, release, and the next world's gravity catches you. A quick tap launches loose and lets the pull bend the flight; a long hold builds a straight power shot that pays a landing bonus. Catch world after world and the chain multiplier climbs. It only drains if you camp in orbit.

Fill three cargo bays with salvage and hyperspace opens. Your launch aim becomes your heading, and you cross to real star systems at their true positions: Alpha Centauri, Sirius, Barnard's Star, 1,359 in all. Fall short and you drop into the Void, a detour rather than a wall.

The rules of the design are short. Gravity is the game. Every danger telegraphs, so a death is earned, never sniped. Real beats generic: real stars, and a roster of pilots who each have a voice. A casual player has fun in one run; a committed one chases the long goal, turning the odometer's leftmost digit into a one, which takes a billion.

Where it stands

Out as an open beta, in the browser and on itch.io. Tilt or drag on a phone, mouse or keyboard on a desktop. The pilot roster, the hangar of hulls, the daily seeded challenge, hyperspace, deep-space encounters with derelicts, pulsars and black holes, and the leaderboard are all live.

What's next

Let the beta show what it needs, then a CrazyGames release with new store art, and the BETA badge comes off.
