ASURA
Concept
Mercy rendered impossible. A hack-and-slash inside a corrupted mind-realm.
A high-speed hack-and-slash inside a crystal mind-realm where corrupted belief takes the shape of monsters and false gods. You are what remains of a ruler murdered with his own sword. No dialogue, no narration. Only motion, scale, and fog that thins with every kill.

Background
ASURA is not rage alone. It is mercy rendered impossible: a ruler who refused to dominate, who would check rather than hurt and hurt rather than maim, betrayed by those closest to him and bound into the crystal at the moment of his death. Inside, restraint fails. What is left must fight.
Rage is not a meter. It is context. It climbs in war zones, spikes before a betrayer, burns near a corrupted god. High rage means more damage and crowd control at the cost of clarity; low rage invites precise, ritual combat. The style is improvisational and momentum-driven: wide arcs, aerial combos, generous cancel windows. Hesitation is punished.
There is no purification bar. Each kill filters a little corruption out of the realm, and you feel it as the fog thins and the enemies grow fewer. The final stretch is a gauntlet through dissolving reality with no menus, no healing, and no breaks. Fictionally, there is only one chance.
Where it stands
A myth bible and a combat philosophy, written. No prototype yet. The hack-and-slash purification loop is the first thing to build.
What's next
A playable loop: one arena, one wave structure, rage as context, to find out whether staying in motion feels right before anything else is built.
